Areas of Practice

Joel Diakow was raised in Langley, B.C. He attended Simon Fraser University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology. He started his legal career as a legal assistant and real estate conveyancer before attending law school. Joel obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the Australian National University, located in Canberra, Australia. Joel was called to the bar of

British Columbia in 2015.

Joel practices in the areas of general litigation, including will variation and trust claims, elder law, and family law. He also works in the areas of estate planning, wills and estates, real estate and has a solicitors practice in business transactions.

Joel is a member of the Fraser Valley Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.

Outside of the practice of law, Joel and his wife are raising their young family and enjoy the outdoors.
