Areas of Practice

Bruce was born and raised in northern British Columbia, and has lived in the Lower Mainland since 1973. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Geography) in 1977 and Bachelor of Laws in 1981, both from the University of British Columbia.

In 1983 Bruce joined a Langley firm as an associate, becoming a partner in 1985. He established a successful practice in Langley over the ensuing years, a busy and diverse firm which grew based on the strong relationships he developed with clients, his support staff, and other professionals in the Langley community. In 2008 he merged his practice with that of Lee Sawatzky.

Bruce has provided legal services related to business law, commercial and

construction matters, litigation, family law and estates. He has been general counsel for numerous corporations and individuals who operate businesses in British Columbia and elsewhere and has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia.

Bruce is a devoted family man and has also been an active community

member. He enjoys planning and completing elaborate projects in his yard,

sunny days on the lake boating with his three boys, and travelling with his

wife.
